Resident Evil 2 has finally arrived and it’s looking to bring some old school terror to a new generation of players. While other horror franchises and games adapt their gameplay mechanics, Resident Evil 2’s remake keeps many of the old school design choices. Corel paint 2018 torrent. One of these is how to save your game, which is tied to the various typewriters around the map.

Just like other titles in this series, Resident Evil 2 requires players to manually save their games at a typewriter. These can be found in various safe areas around Racoon City and will give you an Interact prompt when you approach them. There is also an autosave feature, but the checkpoints are very scarce and usually only after major events such as boss battles. Keep in mind you are not limited in your saves, so there’s no harm in frequently saving as you progress through Resident Evil 2.

Most places you find typewriters will also have some items for you to collect, notes, and item box. This makes any safe room you find incredibly important since managing your inventory can be very tricky. You’ll know it’s okay when Leon or Clair lower their weapons.

For those playing on the hardest difficulty, you will have to use ink ribbons to save and there is a small supply of them. This makes managing your saves imperative since you could run out before the game is even close to the end. There is no autosave function for those who play on the hardest difficulty in Resident Evil 2, so good luck!

Although Resident Evil 2’s remake tries to be as faithful to the original in terms of tone, design, and experience, there are a number of improvements present in the game. Moreover, Capcom has slipped in a few additional elements, like Hunk and Tofu, for fans to geek out over should they choose.

Even with a lot of content for Resident Evil 2 fans to explore, it appears that the game is hiding a few secrets that even Capcom is not ready to reveal. For example, some thorough digging through the game’s save files has revealed that Capcom put a character model for Chris Redfield in the game.

Strangely, the Chris Redfield model is based on his design from Resident Evil 7, which was a contentious re-design, to say the least. As far as the compatibility goes, everything seems to be in order, and modders can even play as Chris should they choose by visiting the Resident Evil modding forums. The only issue is that Chris’ guns were not properly animated, so they will float behind him if holstered.

Since it took some digging to find the Chris character model, there is no official word on what it might be used for, if at all. Capcom has said that it would be interested in exploring more DLC for Resident Evil 2 if the remake is popular enough, so this could be the early beginnings of that.

At the same time, Resident Evil 2 Remake does run on the RE7 graphics engine, which is where this Chris Redfield model was designed. Perhaps this is just a remnant from that game that slipped in either accidentally or on purpose.

Whatever the case may be, just the mere existence of Chris Redfield in a Resident Evil game is sure to have the rumor mill turning. Granted, this likely isn’t the Chris Redfield character model that fans would hope appears in the game, but this seems to be the direction Capcom is taking with the character moving forward and so this design is seemingly canon.

But in the end the Chris model could be nothing. However, if players found a Jill Valentine model, then that might be a hint towards the future.
