This is probably a little too exact but here goes:
I am looking for a CPU temperature monitor program that has a 'pinable taskbar icon' that shows the temperature of the processor in real time. Id like it to be always visible and not in the system tray.
Core Temp is installed but only shows a color bar for safe and unsafe levels, no physical number for the temperature.
I have an AMD PhenomII x4 945.
I downloaded SpeedFan and installed it. I cant seem to get the taskbar icon to show me the temperature. It just shows a picture of a Fan.
Sorry if this is an easy fix, never used it before.
It worked out of the box for me! However, it did take a while for the icon to become non-static.
I wanted to change to icon to the CPU temperature, rather than 'Temp1'. To do this:
In the main speedfan windows, click 'Configure':
Then select your CPU, in my case 'Core'. Then tick 'Show in tray'. Remove mods from weapons fallout 4.
Then in you taskbar, you should see it working:
